Holographic CDs
Holographic CDs (HoloCDs) allow pages of information to be recorded and accessed three-dimensionally in superimposed layers throughout the thickness of the disk. In this manner, they hold orders of magnitude more data than standard CDs. Right now, DVDs and CDs are still the primary formats for mobile data storage media for music, video, and data. Such traditional data storage media save information as discrete dots on the top of the encoding medium and the medium must be spun around to read the data. The cost of storing data is dropping, but the need for archival data storage has been increasing even more quickly. Holotech data storage opens possibilities for saving information at much higher densities than CDs and DVDs by storing information three- dimensionally throughout the thickness of the storage media. holographic data storage breaks the surface barrier deals with these concepts as well.
Holographic information storage and processing systems may be able to provide data processing that is much more rapid compared to current two- dimensional systems. Two-dimensional information storage media especially DVDs and CDs save and restore data in a linear sequence -- one bit at once. Holographic data systems save and recreate data with parallel processing, a whole (million-bit) page of data at a time. Alternative page can be accessed at the same time through the use of various beam angles and wavelengths. Beam angle and wave phase may be modified much quicker than the mechanical motion needed to read various fields in two-dimensional media. Holographic data processing is particularly promising for exploring through massive amounts of information to identify patterns or relationships among data. The site less mechanical inertia with holographic data storage provides additional information.
Neural networks are systems of programs and data that simulate the operation of organic neurons using gradient-based training, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, and Bayesian methods. At present, they are employed to model factor processing and time-series analysis, model meteorological conditions, and even simulate biological thought. Neural networks are primed with large amounts of information and rules about data associations that enable the networks to evolve into deeper knowledge layers. The site holographic data retrieval also provides information on these topics.
Holotech data storage and retrieval also have the potential for greater potential to overcome minor errors. Holotech information can be more fluid and less binary than its magnetic comparable, so that errors are not binary events but differences in degree. In this respect, holotechnology information recording and playback helps computers to behave more similarly to the human brain than computers with traditional magnetic media. Linked page application of holographic technology to television also has different information on this topic.
